Mexican Hot Chocolate ($6)
To use one word to describe this place, it would be 'authentic'.
When you first walk in, your eyes take a while to adjust. The place is dimly lit with reddish lit chandeliers and at first can cause a bit of disorientation. But once seated in this simply laid out venue, with wooden tables and chairs, you find it quite charming.
Huevos Rancheros with eggs sunny side up ($14)
Corn tortilla topped with refried beans, fried egg, melted cheese, pico de gallo, salsa.
If you're like me, and have searched high and low for a good mexican place in Perth, you'll hit the jackpot here. This is no out-of-a-packet mexican joint, rather one with fresh, if simple, mexican recipes. If you want your meal slightly spicier, ask for some sauces. There's no tabasco here, but you'll have a blast sampling the other hot sauces they have available.
Quesadilla Desayuno ($20.50)
Fried egg, belly bacon and jack cheese, between two toasted flour tortillas. Served with refried beans.

That hot chocolate looks amazing!
